Join Allied Universal at a government location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observed conditions.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions in accordance with site policies, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
