As a Security Officer Patrol Clearance Required in Westford, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access activities while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report irregularities involving restricted areas, sensitive materials, or facility operations.
Support Allied Universal and site leadership by following post orders, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with location policies.
