Requirements

• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify potential issues involving access control, property, and/or facility conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site procedures, and help to support authorized access practices.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, and visitors regarding security-related concerns, directions, and/or instructions while maintaining professional conduct throughout the shift.
