As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns with calm, professional communication, support staff and visitors with customer service, and document observations. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and assigned security-related procedures within a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy issues.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and coordinating with clinical staff and local responders as needed.
Support access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials when required, directing visitors, and documenting entry issues per site guidelines.
Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
