Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit-related buildings, bus areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, check credentials where required, and communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or members of the public regarding rules, directions, and security-related concerns.
• Report suspicious activity, maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel, and assist with crowd management and orderly movement of people during busy periods or emergencies.
