As a Security Officer Unarmed - Full Time in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution center, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarm-related activity. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet-based tools. Bring teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach to every shift.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and warehouse personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution center interior, exterior, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and driver credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Observe shipping, receiving, and employee areas for policy concerns, report security-related issues, and complete required activity reports.
