As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in North Charleston, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, verifying credentials and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and security-related observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
