As a Security Officer Full Time Access Compliance Driver in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers at a chemical and petrochemical location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying credentials, reviewing authorization, issuing visitor and contractor passes, and maintaining required access records.
  • Observe incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas, documenting observations and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
