Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support authorized access throughout a fast-paced technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Observe site conditions and report maintenance issues, policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
