Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic cruise operations location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen guests and belongings, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will play an important part in daily operations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a cruise operations location.
• Screen passengers, visitors, crew members, and/or their bags and personal items in accordance with post procedures and access control requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and/or screening lanes to help support authorized access and help to deter prohibited items from entering the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
