As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive operations location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at an automotive vehicle services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of vehicle storage areas, processing lanes, parking areas, buildings, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and promptly reporting concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Observe vehicle handling and traffic flow conditions, report hazards or property damage, and support site procedures for key control, restricted-area access, and incident reporting.
