As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist tenants and visitors with professionalism. Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in required reports.
  • Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and site conditions.
