As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Communications in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing location. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver professional customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts, hazards, and unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.
