As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Communications in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing location. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver professional customer service. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts, hazards, and unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.
