Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to policy.
Complete accurate reports, maintain professional communication with site contacts, and support a welcoming environment for all individuals at the location.
