As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Jackson, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess EMT certification.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Have CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized entry attempts.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate security-related concerns, hazards, and incidents to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
