About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Coshocton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card/License is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, employee spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Support compliance with site access, sanitation, and restricted-area requirements while communicating professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors.
