You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify credentials as required, direct visitors and deliveries, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established response procedures.
• Observe and report hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
