Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Bridgewater, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech campus, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support a positive experience through clear communication, responsive customer service, and detailed reporting. Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology campus and/or data-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting key details and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of office areas, common spaces, loading and delivery zones, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity through security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and visitor logs, reporting irregular conditions per site procedures.
• Complete required reports and shift documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and maintenance or hazard notifications, and communicate pertinent information during shift handoff.
