Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support site traffic flow for employees, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with post instructions.
Observe workplace conditions and report maintenance concerns, access issues, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel while following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
