Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a critical infrastructure location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
  • Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
