About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support access control, report observations, and respond to security-related concerns while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual activity or unauthorized entry attempts.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
