Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an airport-related location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity for unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and other security-related concerns; assist with directing individuals to appropriate airport resources.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
