As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Support in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this active role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first in every interaction.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns and/or facility issues.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or delivery areas to help support site protocols, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Assist with monitoring high-traffic work environments, equipment areas, and/or after-hours activity to help deter disruptions, support business continuity, and communicate concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
