As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech location, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. Requirements

• 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other assigned areas, verifying credentials and observing visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Support Allied Universal standards by communicating clearly with site personnel, assisting with routine inquiries, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
