Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor processing and/or employee access in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Support closing and opening procedures, observe cash handling or delivery activity from a security-related presence standpoint when assigned, and report maintenance, lighting, and other conditions that could impact operations.
