As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Kennesaw, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Security experience of 1+ years is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and follow site protocols for entry, exit, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and policy violations, and by assisting with directions and general site information when appropriate.
