About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Presence at a commercial real estate location in Monroe, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients while helping provide a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. The role involves customer service, routine unarmed patrols, monitoring access and visitor activity, and responding professionally to security-related concerns. The position is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and pays $21.10 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
