As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observer in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or facility concerns.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or vendor authorization, and help support orderly entry and exit procedures for personnel, deliveries, and guests.
Document incidents, patrol activities, and/or maintenance-related issues, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
