Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Supervisory experience is required.
Must be 21 years of age or older
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, and suspicious activity to site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
