About The Position

As a Security Officer TWIC Unarmed Patrol Driver Incident Response in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic government port location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and personnel, and respond to concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to port visitors, employees, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, facilities, access points, parking areas, waterfront perimeters, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and check credentials, identification, and vehicle or visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Complete required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly, while helping to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
