As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrols, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
