As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control needs while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, with responsibilities that may include vehicle patrols throughout the community. Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter spaces, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence.
  • Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and community rules within the location, assisting with access control practices and addressing routine questions or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Support Allied Universal and site protocols by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of changing conditions, and communicating clearly with residents, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
