As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Annville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support access awareness and clear communication while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
  • Document observed activity, incidents, and/or daily operations in a clear manner to support site awareness and follow-up by Allied Universal and site leadership.
