As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols of a construction and development location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and reporting activities. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, contractors, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a construction and development location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of construction areas, access points, parking areas, equipment storage locations, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorized personnel as directed by site procedures, and documenting visitor and contractor activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
