As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government locations.
  • Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, public access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious behavior, hazards, property concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and communications.
