As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a residential club community, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and guests. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, members, guests, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, building exteriors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with community policies, documenting observations and completing required incident reports.
  • Communicate professionally with property staff, residents, guests, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming environment.
