About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Incident Prevention in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store associates, customers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Help deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting to site management and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.
