As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Credential Validation in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access points, and assist visitors with professional service. This driving position offers the opportunity to use strong communication and observation skills while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned transportation facilities, platforms, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, and security-related activities.
