Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate in Saint Petersburg, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants, guests, and staff with outstanding customer service, clear communication, and a people-first approach while bringing reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help support authorized access, observe building activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs while following Allied Universal standards and the location's security-related procedures.
