Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, loading, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and delivery traffic, verifying authorized access and helping to follow visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle processing procedures.
• Support loss prevention and operational awareness by reporting damaged doors, unsecured areas, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in a timely manner.
