Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced tech location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and support access awareness while providing outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, all while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in support of site protocols, verify credentials as directed, and report concerns involving employees, guests, vendors, and/or deliveries.
  • Support a professional environment at a fast-paced technology-focused location by communicating clearly with staff and visitors and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or policy-related concerns.
