As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, operational disruptions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, verifying credentials when required, and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and/or irregular conditions in required reports, logs, and communication systems, and support site-specific procedures related to deliveries, pickups, and facility operations.
