As a Security Officer Unarmed - Overnight in Macon, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while reflecting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative approach.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, verify authorized access when required, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior through proper channels.
• Document daily activities, observations, and incident details in required logs and reports, and support requested post orders for lobby areas, office spaces, and other designated locations.
