As a Security Officer Unarmed - Overnight in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior and exterior areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
Monitor entry and exit activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and report unusual behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
Support daily operations by observing high-traffic areas, assisting with directional questions, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
