As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Wooster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This primarily driving role requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and the agile, reliable, and innovative values of Allied Universal.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access concerns, disturbances, and requests for support.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures while maintaining a professional and respectful presence.
  • Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and relevant information to appropriate personnel.
