Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization as required, and maintain awareness of restricted or sensitive areas.
  • Document incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
