As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Driver Patrol in Leesport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This driving position includes using a company vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government residential care location.
  • Respond to incidents, resident-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed by established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate daily activity, incident, and shift-report documentation.
  • Support a respectful, professional environment while interacting with older adults and individuals who may require additional assistance or accommodation.
