As a Security Officer- Unarmed Lobby in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Guard card is required
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor access to the building by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointment information, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with location policies.
  • Answer phones, assist with inquiries, and document arrivals, departures, incidents, and other security-related activity in a clear and timely manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts, supervisors, and/or public officials when appropriate.
  • Support a professional front desk presence by observing lobby activity, reporting unusual behavior or security-related concerns, and helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.
