About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Operations Specialist in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to support access control, visitor check-in, and other security-related responsibilities while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a healthcare location.
• Monitor the front desk area, greet arriving individuals, verify identification and/or visitor information, and help direct people to the appropriate department or point of contact.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete assigned logs, reports, and other documentation related to front desk activity, visitor management, and other security-related matters.
• Support security-related policies for entry points, deliveries, and/or restricted areas while maintaining a professional presence at a primarily stationary post.
