Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and documenting activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized persons, vehicles, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contact.
• Support security-related operations at a chemical and petrochemical location by maintaining awareness of site rules, observing equipment and vehicle movement, and communicating concerns promptly.
